Walk up the stairs to the attic door. There's an dark brass door handle with a keyhole that fits an old skeleton key. Looking through the keyhole you see an old rocker covered in cobwebs. Next to the rocker, on the floor is a sugar skull, left behind after the traditional mexican celebration that honors the dead.
This pendant features a sugar skull made from powdered glass on a glass base with a pattern of smaller sugar skulls. The different glasses have reacted to each other causing color reactions.
The glass is mounted to an authentic brass keyhole cover that is soldered to another keyhole cover for the bail.
The necklace (17") is hand beaded with skull beads, crackle beads and glass beads.
